The Galloway Inn is located in Scott County,
Tennessee, atop the Cumberland Plateau in the western foothills of the
Appalachian Mountains. The county is bordered by the Cumberland Mountains
on the east and the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area on
the west.
We are located a few miles from
the Big South Fork, which is open year round and has a unique climate and
scenery. The area is great for fishing, hunting, ATV trails, whitewater
rafting, bird watching and other recreational activities.
The Big Fork has 115,000 acres and
two dozen waterfalls, with more than 100 natural arches and some of the
most breathtaking scenery in the state.
We are located only 20 minutes
from I-75 and the nearest airport is McGhee-Tyson Airport in Knoxville.
